Promotional Band Shoot
"Shannon Corr combines studied professionalism, technical expertise, nimble adaptability, and a remarkable sensitivity towards his subject

a distant morning rendezvous, multiple shooting sites, and inchoate-yet-crucial high concept underpinnings. Shannon took the job with no

| "Shying away from the "traditional' music photography, Shannon Corr presents his work more as "art". You don't even have to had heard of a band to appreciate the photography. A drummer for nearly 30 years - currently for two bay area bands The Turks and Sons of Oswald - Corr is able to closely connect with the timing of a bands performance which gives him an edge an insight on photographing them. He has been a part of the Bay Area music scene for nearly fifteen years both as a performer and a photographer. Feeling right at home in smaller venues where he can get up close and personal with the bands without having to deal with over zealous "mall fans" and oblivious venue owners. His work has been featured in many shows throughout the Bay Area,widely used by local publications. He organizes,shows work and plays in a yearly art/music fest called "Amps and Apertures" where bands and photography come together as one. You can always fine him at a show either playing in it or photographing it. His band promotional work and portrait work has the same freshness and his ideas, sense of work ethic, work flow and turn around times are uncommonly found.
